RSI Logistics, based out of Okemos, Michigan, recently moved into a new office space and wanted to create a set of custom company “stock images” to pull from for their website and other marketing visuals. They brought me in to take commercial headshots and photograph team members on-site in their space.
Studio Fashion Photography Shoot – Lansing Commercial Photographer
My friend from high school (and a very talented art director), Steph Smith, reached out to me about flying in from Arkansas to work on a styled fashion photoshoot together. The plan was to go bold with colors, pulling inspiration from the colorful style of photographer Camila Falquez. If you follow my typical work, you’ll know that my style generally trends toward natural colors, so this was a fun way to get creatively “outside of the box” from my norm.
Many thanks to models Olivia Knoy and Cayla Johnson for joining us for this shoot.

Graduate Hotel Rock Bar Rooftop Restaurant Commercial Photoshoot
I was hired as a commercial photographer by Graduate Hotel in East Lansing to take photos for the launch of their new Graduate Rock Bar on the rooftop of the hotel. We partnered with VIM, the student magazine on campus, to coordinate models for the shoot. The goal was to highlight the vibe of the bar, both outside and inside, and the products that they feature.

Nurse Injector Studio Branding Headshots
Sarah already had a solid Instagram presence and general online presence as a nurse injector before she came to me for new branding photos, but she wanted a new set of personalized stock photos to draw from as she markets her business online.
After she filled out my Story Session Questionnaire, we designed the session to be bright and cheerful—and to pull in color elements from her own thoughtful space.
We used this mood board and her questionnaire as a jumping off point to choose props, colors, outfits, and general style. There’s a rack in the studio to bring in a slew of outfits, which makes it easy to quickly choose combinations as we move through looks.
Many thanks to Katelyn Bontrager for doing Sarah’s hair (Katelyn works out of Annie Kathryn’s Hair + Bridal Salon across the hall from the studio, which is such a nice convenience).
