Dana+Dan: Michigan State Campus Engagement Photos

Here’s the thing about going on maternity leave as a creative business owner—you can never really turn the business off completely (Arden was born on December 29, and early January is the single busiest time of the year for booking weddings), but you do have to choose which things you’ll let slide while adjusting to life with a new little person. In my case, blogging was the first thing to go, and while I love the work that I’ve already shared with you in the past, there is so much more that I want to share. So forgive me for being a bit late on all of these amazing weddings and engagement sessions (Dana and Dan’s was clearly in the fall, and here we are back around to spring again already), but better late than never! Get ready to see a lot of fun new work—and as always, you can follow me on Instagram and Facebook to see the very latest and get a peek into my personal life.michigan_state_campus_engagement_photos_0001.jpgNow onto Dana and Dan. If you do a session with me, a few things are pretty much guaranteed. I’m going to get you in motion so that you’ll feel and look more natural, and I’m going to try to give you prompts that will make you laugh (usually by having you say things to each other). If you can get sentimental at some point, we have the perfect trifecta. Dana and Dan proved that they were up for anything, and I love that they showed different sides of their personalities and relationship. They’re getting married in June at the Frankenmuth Brewery, and I know it’s going to be amazing.

Check back next Tuesday for a brand new blog post.
