Ruth’s Gradution Photos on Michigan State’s Campus

This is always an exciting time around East Lansing. I share an office downtown on Grand River with my husband, Jeff, and we have a huge window on the second floor of the building overlooking campus. I love the vibe around here as students start to come out into the warmer weather and enjoy the final weeks before summer break begins. I’m always itching to change up my location, so I walk down to Espresso Royale or Grand River Coffee, and I secretly smile about the fact that I no longer have to study for final exams.

I’m always grateful when students celebrate their years of hard work at Michigan State with professional photos around campus with me. Ruth is one of those students. Everyone take senior photos to celebrate the end of high school, but so many students get caught up in the final days of college and forget to celebrate it the same way. Despite a little sprinkling of rain, we had a great mini tour of north campus—from Sparty to the MSU Botanical Gardens to Morrill Hall. Congratulations, Ruth, and best wishes after graduation!

Linen Albums

I truly believe that every couple should have a beautiful, archival wedding album to look back at the story from their wedding day. There’s something about sharing a physical piece—turning the sturdy pages and remembering the moments together—that just feels so right.

I’ve used the same album company for years, but I’ve always loved the look and feel of linen wrapped albums, so this year, I finally made the switch to a new company, and I’m loving the results. This is a 10×10 inch album with a 6×6 inch parent album. I especially love the option for the smaller parent album—they’re gorgeous!

Family Photos on MSU’s North Campus

Michigan State’s north campus never fails me. It’s a natural place for Spartan fans to capture family photos that show their love for MSU in a simple, subtle way. It also made for the perfect backdrop to celebrate this little fellow’s first birthday last fall.
