Cassandra and Shane were married on 9-10-11, a day that turned out to be perfect for an outdoor late afternoon ceremony. Cassie and Shane—you make a stunning couple, and I loved being a part of your wedding day, from sentimental moments to goofiness and laughter. And I’m absolutely in love with every single one of your sunset portraits.

My goodness! I wrote down a list of all of the sessions and weddings that I have yet to blog about this fall, and I am way behind! I blame my sister for loaning me The Hunger Games trilogy (that, and I’ve been knee deep in editing, ordering and shipping out tons of beautiful fall photos).

With that, I’m thrilled to share Lauren and Rob’s engagement session from Old Town Lansing and Michigan State’s campus. Lauren and Rob wanted to incorporate their dog, Milo, who played a key role in Rob’s proposal (Milo had the engagement ring tied around his neck and presented it to Lauren). Lucky for all of us, Milo is quite a photogenic little guy.

Lauren and Rob, thanks for a great evening. Looking forward to your wedding next September!

I love getting back on campus—especially this time of year.

I was able to head to Chicago to shoot Margaret and Jeff’s engagement session back in May, and I knew right away that they were going to have a fun wedding. And was I ever right! These two are surrounded by absolutely amazing friends and family, and they made the day such a joy to be a part of.
