I first started chatting with Abby, a Marketing Manager at Graduate Hotels, about branding photo opportunities for the hotel last March. We were originally talking about about taking photos of MSU graduating seniors at Graduate East Lansing’s rooftop bar overlooking campus around Spring graduation week, but Covid impacted the hotel launch (like it does)—so Abby changed gears and set up our first photo shoot with Zeke the Wonder Dog.
I’ve worked with a lot of dogs over the years, and a lot of them have been extremely well behaved (don’t worry—plenty of dogs have been far less than perfect, and we’ve still gotten great shots of them). But Zeke’s training is at a whole other level, and I have so much respect for the time it must have taken to get him to this level.
But even the best trained dog will keep you on your toes during a photo shoot. Patience only lasts so long when you’re a pup, so I had to act fast to create a set of photos for Graduate East Lansing to use on Instagram and in other marketing materials.
