When a patient starts looking for a new dentist, that person is often going to look at marketing photos that represent the dental office in a few places – on the Google listing, on the website, and possibly on social media or printed materials.
A lot of small businesses use stock photos on their websites, but stock photos aren’t going to work for your Google Business Listing. If you work directly with clients and really want to focus on marketing for dental offices or a similar type of business, people want to see real photos of your actual employees to get a sense for how welcomed they’ll feel if they choose that provider.
So when Beyond Dental was ready to add custom images to their website, Google listing, and other places, we set up a marketing photo shoot.
Having worked with a few dentists/orthodontists around the Lansing, Michigan area now, here’s my advice for anyone looking to set up their own custom branding photos: whether you’re using models, friends, family members, or actual patients for your photos, make sure you get written permission. This is especially important if you’re asking your actual patients to be in photos, but you’ll be surprised by how many will be receptive to the idea.
