Alexis came to me looking for branding photos for her new therapy practice. Therapists are often judged based on how approachable their images look online, so it was important to get these headshots just right.
Alexis wanted a mix of headshots and photos that would show off what she’s like at work—meeting clients digitally. We were able to get a huge mix of photos in the studio in a short time, and Alexis ended up choosing twenty to use for her business.
Brand Color Palette
I recommend that all of my branding photo clients have a color palette going into the session. It helps to drive the session design and the outfits that you’ll wear. Alexis sent me the color board above—she was was focused on white and forest green, which appeared throughout most of her images in white walls, white backdrops, and plants (we did also utilize the existing blue-green wall in the studio for a few photos, although the color wasn’t exact).
